The tell-tale heart

The story is about a guy who really hate an old man's eye. So he decide to kill him because of the eye. He waited until the old man open his eyes at night. Then he kills him. In the end the police come the man was feeling fear and guilt that he tell the truth.

In this story it tells us the guy kills the old man makes him feel fear inside his heart the police was not his enemy. It is himself. I like the video more than the story because the video is more scary. the reader in the video uses his terrible voice plus the picture it makes it more scary. and I like the idea of the story also the way the writer wrote it.

  1. Sandy, I'm so happy that you liked the story and the video. This is a wonderful post. Good on you for pointing out that the murderer's worst enemy is no one but himself! This is a great point.

I really think Edgar Allan Poe is the master of stories like this. The way he writes – and the way the narrator of the video speaks – makes you feel like you are inside the head of the murderer who is going crazy (or is he already crazy?) with guilt and fear.

Oh no, I think I'm fancying a ringing in my ears. It's growing louder – louder – louder! I think I must scream or die! – and now – again! – hark! louder! louder! louder!

    Stop it! Oh! Stop it!!!!
